What Happened To BottleKeeper After Shark Tank?
Cousins Adam Callinan and Matt Campbell appeared on "Shark Tank" in 2018 to share their idea for BottleKeeper — an insulated device that could keep any bottled beverage cold. The brand had already made $20 million, and even made $1 million in the days leading up to its TV appearance.
Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner combinedly invested $1 million into the company, with the stipulations that they’d receive a 5% stake in the brand and $1.50 per sale until they were paid back $2 million. Unfortunately, the deal between the two Sharks and the entrepreneurs never actually closed.
Despite not getting the deal, the brand’s sales spiked 300% after the show, earning $1 million in sales in just a few days. In 2018, Business Insider featured a review of the product, saying the brand was selling 2.5 units per minute online and was expected to make $15 million in revenue that year.
BottleKeeper now also sells the CanKeeper, PintKeeper, and ChillKeeper. The CanKeeper comes in a standard 12-ounce can option and a three-in-one option for different-sized cans, the PintKeeper holds 20 oz, while the Chillkeeper is a cooler that comes in two sizes for either 16 or 32 12-oz cans.
