  • Chris is a news writer for MegaMenu and the author of a weekly column dedicated to food and cooking for The Los Angeles Blade - a leading LGBTQ news source where he recently resumed his his role as a general assignment reporter. His reporting and feature writing has often been featured on the cover of the paper's print editions.
  • Previously, Chris covered the Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission for global legal-financial news outlets formerly owned by the Financial Times.
  • Other outlets in which Chris has been bylined (or in which his work has been published on behalf of a nonprofit organization where he served as communication specialist) include Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The Hill, and Nature.


While covering news in the food space is a new endeavor for Chris (despite his lifelong interest in these subjects and passion for home cooking), he is a seasoned journalist in Washington with a diverse array of experience. Chris joins MegaMenu after working for several years as a financial and legal reporter. Covering antitrust, M&A and regulatory-healthcare matters, Chris sourced breaking news and enterprising analytical stories from high level presidentially appointed government officials, federal and state lawmakers, attorneys at many of the world's largest and most prestigious law firms and experts in a variety of professional and academic disciplines.


Chris earned his B.A. in mass communication from the University of North Carolina, Asheville, where he also wrote a fashion column for the university's newspaper, The Blue Banner.
