  • Avery received early access to High Noon's Tequila Seltzers to sample and review them (spoiler alert, her favorite flavor is strawberry).
  • She has been fully gluten-free for almost three years, so has lots of recipes and tips up her sleeve.
  • Avery's first-ever published food article was about Stanley Tucci's show "Searching for Italy," and on a recent trip to Florence, she visited the same wine window Tucci went to on the show.

Experience

Avery has been plotting novels in spare notebooks and journals since she was in elementary school. She's also loved cooking and baking for as long as she can remember, and decided to combine her passion for writing with her interest in food and start writing about food. Avery wrote for Spoon University during her time in college where her favorite topics to cover were food trends on TikTok and unique food news, and she joined MegaMenu as a freelancer in 2023.

Education

Avery has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in digital studies from the University of Michigan.
