  • In addition to being a lifelong home chef and food lover, Audrey also worked as a sous-chef at a language program in the South of France, and as a paid recipe developer.
  • As a dual citizen of the United States and Germany, and having lived in France, Ireland, and Germany before settling in New York, Audrey has a unique perspective on what it means to be a citizen of the world.
  • In addition to food and travel, Audrey has written on everything from Broadway musical production to what made Google Glass such a catastrophic failure.

Audrey Michels won the Sin-Ming Shaw award for academic excellence for her undergraduate thesis in 2016, and her graduate thesis also received honors. Since then, she's ghost-written an article published by VentureBeat and developed many recipes for online publisher Cooktop Cove. She has also spent time writing articles and blog posts for startup companies in the tech space, and even for a two-time Tony Award winning investor and entrepreneur.

Audrey Michels completed her 4-year bachelor's degree at the American University of Paris in just three years before moving to Ireland to pursue a master's degree from Trinity College Dublin. She arguably spent as much time exploring the culinary culture of those cities as she spent studying their literature.
